THE BACKGROUND

For the needs of the client (Major EU Institution based in Brussels) we are looking for an experienced Application Cloud Architect.

We are looking for professionals who thrive in large-scale, complex environments, ideally with experience in multicultural public-sector or institutional settings.

Under this assignment you can work fully remote from anywhere in the EU (with the exception of the first week where you will need to go to Brussels to pick up some equipment and meet the team).

YOUR MISSION

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

• Analysis of the integration of different information systems.

• Data analysis and data modelling.

• Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture.

• Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers.

• Production of software architecture documents.

• Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users.

• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting.

• Creating designs and blueprints of Cloud Architecture.

• Design and development of architecture components and building blocks using cloud components.

• Analysis of the integration of different information systems.

• Analysis, design and implementations of services and composites in SOA context (BPMN, BPEL, SCA).

• Production of use case models, software architecture documents, design and analysis models, implementation models.

• Follow up of the data analysis and data modelling.

• Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture.

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, MBA, or a related field.

• Good knowledge of architecture best practices and patterns.

• Good knowledge of Service Oriented Architectures , integrating / moving to Cloud environments

• Good knowledge of applications design.

• Good knowledge of modelling tools.

• Good knowledge of Relational DBMS.

• Good knowledge of business process analysis.

• Knowledge of interoperability technology (such as web services, message oriented middleware, service oriented bus, event architecture).

• In depth knowledge of information systems.

• Experience in complex UI interface development.

• Ability to apply high quality standards to all tasks.

• Capacity in writing and presenting studies, to give presentations about the project.

• Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, good communication skills.
