We are seeking several talented and motivated Interface Specialists to join our team. In this role, you will work on designing and developing high-quality integration flows between hospital information systems. Collaboration, innovation, and attention to detail will be key in ensuring seamless interoperability that supports patient care and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interfaces using Mirth Connect, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards (HL7 v2/v3, FHIR).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, medical staff, administration) to analyze requirements and implement integration solutions.
- Ensure data quality, security, and traceability across systems (EHR, laboratory, imaging, billing, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and resolve interface issues to guarantee system interoperability and performance.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in healthcare integration and interoperability.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience with Mirth Connect
- Javascript expertise is required
- Ability to understand business requirements
- Ability to write formal functional and technical specifications
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient integration code.
- Java programming skills for custom scripting and connector development is an asset.
- Experience with database design and SQL
- Experience with ETL tools, such as Talend (asset).
- Knowledge of HL7 standards and healthcare interoperability protocols (asset).
- Experience in integration using SAP ERP APIs (asset).
- Experience with Epic systems integration (asset).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Working Schedule:
- Full-time. Minimum of 3 days per week on site.
