Azure Cloud Architect | Permanent Contract | Athens or remote - GR
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and ensure technical wins for core and adjacent technologies by leading technical discussions with customers.
• Conduct training or one-to-many events (e.g., workshops, Webinars) to present and educate customers and colleagues on the capabilities and benefits across Microsoft Azure tools, technologies and products.
• Leverage best practices to guide customer strategy and future growth on Microsoft Azure.
• Has understanding and has used security frameworks such as ASVS.
• Proactively engages with and reaches out to customer technical decision makers and influencers. Utilizes information on customer business, industry, needs, competitive landscape and key priorities to support customer's digital transformation.
• Proactively engages product and support teams (e.g., engineering) to remediate blockers by conveying impact.
• Architecture Design and Deployment - Run Architectural Design Session(s) to build plans for implementing solutions which align to customer business goals and technical environments.
• Drives pilots, proof of concept (POC), and value (e.g., optimizing solutions and costs) and moves the customer forward from pilots to production deployments.
• Identifies, escalates, and works to resolve technical blockers (e.g., changing configurations, sample coding) to accelerate architecture implementations, and routes non-technical issues for removal by appropriate party.
Job requirements
- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field;
- 9+ years of practical experience as a software architect, leading technical projects;
- 3+ years of experience in Azure cloud architecture and design with core technical skills;
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certification is a must;
- Experience and understanding of large-scale applications portfolio in enterprise-wide environment (including migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud) required;
- Experience and understanding of large-scale application development projects (including key coding skills and practices) required;
- Proven ability to understand application and operational requirements in a variety of functional areas and the flexibility to adapt to new and changing information;
- Understanding of the Agile Software Development methodologies;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 or higher);
- Willingness to travel and work in an international, multi-cultural environment;
- Good team spirit and accountable for working in a multi-cultural and international environment;
- Fulfilled military obligations.
