Azure Cloud Test Engineer | Full-time contract | Athens or remote

About Us
We are a leading technology company looking for an Azure Cloud Test engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building scalable data solutions, optimizing performance, and ensuring top-tier software quality in a cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated tests on cloud environments for web and mobile applications.
• Design and conduct tests focused on performance, security, scalability, and functionality.
• Leverage cloud-based testing tools to seamlessly integrate with CI/CD workflows.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize Azure Pipelines for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and accurate results.
• Implement best practices for cloud testing to optimize security, performance, and accuracy.
• Design and manage data pipelines using Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.
• Perform load testing with Azure Load Testing, monitor performance using Azure Application Insights, and conduct security testing with Microsoft Defender.
• Test mobile applications across devices using App Center Test, ensuring cross-platform compatibility.
• Validate data using Great expectations (GX).
• Validate data integrity through Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake Analytics.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for browser-based applications using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Mentor and coach other team members on the implementation of Azure best practices.

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering and cloud-based testing.
• Proficiency with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks for building scalable data pipelines.
• Experience configuring and maintaining Azure Pipelines for CI/CD automation.
• Experience with cloud-based load testing, performance monitoring, and security tools like Azure Load Testing, Azure Application Insights, and Microsoft Defender.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium for browser automation and testing.
• Strong skills in SQL, Python, and cross-platform testing.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
