BI Engineer (SAP Business Objects) | Full-time contract | Athens - GR


 Your daily work routine will include:

  • Translate business needs to technical specifications;
  • Design, build, deploy and maintain BI solutions and scalable BO Universes (e.g. reporting tools);
  • Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g. MicroStrategy);
  • Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes);
  • Working in tandem with front end development on BO SDK integration implementation and troubleshooting;
  • Business Objects subject matter expert on our reporting team;
  • Evaluate and improve existing BI systems;
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate systems;
  • Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses;
  • Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.

Requirements

  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field;
  • At least 7 years of proven experience as a BI Developer in corporate environment;
  • Solid experience in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modelling) and data mining;
  • In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework;
  • Excellent knowledge of BI technologies and business objects reporting (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI, SAP) and SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS);
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills;
  • Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative;
  • Understanding of the Agile Software Development methodology;
  • Excellent command of English both written and spoken (C1);
  • Fulfilled military obligations;
  • Flexibility for travelling and able to work in an international and multi-cultural environment.
