Cloud Solution Architect | Full-time contract | Athens - GR (Hybrid)

Your daily work routine will include:

  • Be involved in the Cloud-native microservices design and implementation; integration services design and implementation; act as a member of agile customer-facing teams that design and implement enterprise solutions working intensively, hand-in-hand with customer and partner teams to meet challenging deadlines;
  • Design and Develop microservices that use Kafka, Redis, REST, messaging, caching, database integration, connectors/adapters to enterprise systems;
  • Interconnect a wide variety of systems, applications and technologies with Cloud-based solutions;
  • Apply best practices and established design patterns for microservices and integration;
  • Provide technical guidance to a team of 3-5 IT specialist.


  • BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field;
  • 3 years of hands-on experience on microservices using JAVA, IDEs like VS Code, IntelliJ or Eclipse;
  • 2 years of proven experience in applying best practices and proven patterns on the design of microservices;
  • 1 year of proven experience in J2EE application design and development on an application server (WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat or other);
  • Thorough knowledge and at least 3 years of experience on:
    • Kafka
    • REST protocol
    • JDBC protocol and data integration in general
    • using a popular IDE (Eclipse-based, Visual Code, IntelliJ or other)
    • event-driven architecture
    • relational database design
    • unit, integration and e2e testing
    • git-based version control and branching / merging strategies
    • formal task management through tools like Jira and Azure DevOps or other
  • Experience with asynchronous messaging integration;
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 or higher);
  •  Good team spirit and accountable for working in a multi-cultural and international environment.
