For one of our main clients based in Luxembourg - a leading European Institution, we are looking for a Software Developer to join our team in the area of democracy, human rights, and EU decision-making. Software developers design, develop, and maintain software applications, typically including writing and reviewing code, designing application architecture, and testing software functionality. They operate under the direct supervision of the team leader specifically assigned and the statutory staff directly responsible.

Depending on the processes and procedures of the Contracting Authority, developers may be provided with general directions but also have discretion in defining the details of software implementation and exploring new possibilities that may arise during the development lifecycle. Due to the sensitive nature of the information handled, except for some administrative elements, in the absence of the specifically assigned Team Leader, they report directly to the statutory staff responsible.

You will play a crucial role in supporting innovation policies and decisions, enabling the successful implementation of the client's digital transformation and EU policies.

For the needs of the client, you must be based in Europe and work on-site in the office at least 50% of the time, and you must have full rights to work in Luxembourg.

More specifically, you will be responsible for…

Design and development:

-Design, develop, and deploy Al and ML models using Python, Java, and other relevant programming languages.

-Develop and implement LLM and neural network-based solutions for various applications.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.

Data Analysis and Processing:

-Work with various data sets, including structured and unstructured data, to develop and train Al and ML models.

-Gather, preprocess and transform data for use in Al and ML models.

-Develop and implement data pipelines to support Al and ML workflows.

-Model Training and Deployment:

• Train and deploy Al and ML models using various frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.

• Optimize and fine-tune models for improved performance and accuracy.

• Deploy models to cloud-based platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Collaboration and Communication:

-Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements.

-Communicate complex technical concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders.

-Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall code quality.

-Actively participating in in meetings, contributing groundbreaking ideas, and offering insightful feedback to drive project excellence and innovation.

Research and Development:

-Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Al, ML, and LLM.

-Research and explore new techniques and technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Al-powered solutions.

-Writing and maintaining code for Al

-Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the technical stack and make

recommendations for improvements.

Are you the perfect match?

-Holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Al, ML, or a related

field, or 5 years of higher education or equivalent in professional experience.

-Over one year of professional experience as a Data & Al Software development

(AI/ML) or equivalent, directly relevant to the tasks and projects described.

-Proficiency in Python and Java programming languages.

-Experience with Al and ML frameworks, such as Microsoft Cognitive Toolkit (CNTK), TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.

-Familiarity with LLM and neural network-based architectures.

-Experience with data analysis and processing, including data preprocessing, feature

engineering, and data visualization.

-Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

-Experience working with various data sets, including structured and unstructured data.

-Experience with model training, deployment, and optimization.

-Hands-on proficiency with data ingestion, storage, and visualization techniques using tools like the ELK stack, IBM solutions, Microsoft, or similar platforms

It will be nice if you have…

-Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and tools.

-Computer Vision techniques and tools.

-Experience with containerization using Docker.
