Data Analyst | Full-time contract | Greece

This position is for a large project implementing extensive business requirements and processes in the scientific and regulation area. Your daily work routine will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a deep understanding of the business domain, identifying user goals and ensuring our software solutions effectively meet their needs.

  • Elicit, analyze, document, and validate data and business requirements through collaboration with customer stakeholders. Brainstorm and propose related functionalities/features, ensuring technical feasibility by engaging relevant team members.

  • Interpret complex data sets, analyze results using statistical techniques, and produce insightful, ongoing reports to inform strategic decisions.

  • Develop data models on both conceptual and logical level.

  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of robust data governance frameworks that uphold data integrity and compliance.

  • Conduct data profiling focused on six primary dimensions of data quality as defined by DAMA standards.

  • Build, prioritize, and maintain a backlog of software features, improvements, and bug fixes to drive continuous improvement.

  • Produce detailed specifications and ensure timely customer approvals to facilitate effective Sprint planning.

  • Actively participate in Sprint planning meetings, providing clarity and prioritization where necessary.

  • Engage in daily stand-up meetings, ensuring that delivered features align with established specifications.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, MBA, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst.

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with data analysis tools, modeling tools, and SQL programming.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize, abstract, and communicate information clearly tailored to various audiences.

  • Proven experience with Data Modeling tools (e.g., Oracle Data Modeler, Mermaid) and reporting packages (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with programming languages, particularly R and Python, is advantageous.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 level or higher).

  • Strong team leadership skills, with a collaborative spirit and a sense of ownership and accountability.

  • Completion of military obligations (if applicable).
