Web Developer with DevOps (remote from Belgium)

For one of our main clients based in Brussels - an European Institution, we are looking for a Front-end Developer with DevOps mindset to join our team in the area of grants, experts and procurement management. You will play a crucial role in supporting the innovation, research, and enabling the successful implementation of the client's digital transformation and EU policies.

As Front-end developer, you will perform the following tasks: 

• Plan, implement, upgrade DevSecOps pipelines;
• Facilitate the continuous delivery of IT applications by using Application Lifecycle Management and automation tools;
• Architect and design API Security, Container Security, Cloud Security;
• Provision of advice and assistance in any area associated with the procurement, provision, delivery, maintenance, deployment, hosting, effective use of information systems and their environments;
• Provision of quality plans, service level agreements, quality control and evaluation, quality assessments or other quality matters associated with information systems projects;
• Perform design, development, unit/integration testing and maintenance of software that both follow the reference architecture rules and accurately implement the specifications received in the documents of analysis provided by the business analysts of the project;
• Provide assistance and support to information system developers.

• Bachelor's / Master's degree

• DevOps-related certification (CDP, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, MS DevOps Engineer Expert, or equivalent)

• Minimum 6 years of experience with large, enterprise-level multi-user Information Systems

• Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, ES6, CSS3 and SASS

• Proficiency in Angular (latest versions, build and automation tools), Bootstrap and Typescript

• Good knowledge in client-side development of complex applications involving: multi module, Web Components

• Experience in Web security, authentication, and authorization protocols (OAuth, Open ID Connect)

• Experience working with web services (REST, SOAP), JSON (JSONPath is a plus)

• Experience with asynchronous processing and Redux architecture (RxJs)

• Experience with the following tools: Git, JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Nexus, Crucible, Jenkins/Sonar

• Knowledge of UX design best practices, including user interface ergonomics, is a plus

• Knowledge of web ergonomics, usability and accessibility Knowledge of fundamental visual and typographic design disciplines and principles is a plus

• Experience with responsive and adaptive design

• Knowledge in cross-browser compatibility and testing

• Experience in agile development environments.
