The mission consists to support the development and start the commercialization of the Product “Upstream”.
You will be homebased in Brussels at the SAP chapter among other Business Analyst and operate daily as a team member of a multi-disciplinary product team steered by a product owner. You will interact with other team members (developers, business analysts, product owner), internal stakeholders, suppliers, potential leads and clients under contract (primarily in Europe).
The objective of this product is to collect, calculate and analyse supplier data for our purchases that complements our SAP master data. We use this to report on Group-wide Scope 3 Emissions, learn more about our supply chain and steer our decarbonization efforts.
The service consists of the following tasks:
Support product team in continuous development of the platform
Collecting customer feedback (internal clients, external clients, suppliers)
Feature testing
Documentation
Prepare training material (internal and external)
Support the commercialization ambition Identify potential leads, follow-up, track progress Pitch product to potential leads, establish “sales pipeline”
Marketing activities (web presence, conferences etc.)
Client support (problem solving, feedback, training)
Scheduling, prioritizing and planning of work together with product owner
Interact with other products in the cluster and understand their processes on a high level as far as they concern Upstream
Sparring with the business to optimize and harmonize processes by analysing, describing and validating business requirements, including modelling of processes and data structures
Identify needs for adaptation of processes inside Upstream to other business processes and needs for other business processes to adapt to Upstream processes
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as business analyst, business developer, business manager, Sales rep or similar.
Impeccable English is a must (need to redact written material)
Proficiency in German is a big plus
French and Dutch are a plus
Strong communication skills to interact with users and stakeholders effectively “Sales” mindset with focus on customer satisfaction
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations
Marketing skills (social media presence, website, press material, visuals)
Ability to understand and map processes
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an agile environment
Experience in a commercial or business environment, preferably working closely with sales, marketing, or customer service teams is a bonus
Hands-on experience in product management, including product strategy, development, and launch is a bonus
Proven track record of working in agile projects and contributing to iterative development and continuous improvement is a bonus
