Our client is moving towards Data-centricity, i.e. Data becomes a masterpiece in its strategy execution. In the Data team, within the corporate Digital & Data department, we aim at facilitating and driving the entire organization to leverage data as an enabler to achieve its targets (strategic ambitions, innovation or transformation themes, objectives, and regulatory compliance). Our mission consists in facilitating and driving the entire organization to leverage data as an enabler to achieve its targets. To realize this, we are building a data platform. This way we make data available to all users from a unified place and offer data services to all internal customers (extract, transform, ingest, and visualize data).

The Data Platform vision is based on the one of the Data Mesh, including domain ownership, serving data as a product and the federated computational governance.

The Data Platform is organized around products of 2 types: Enabler Products delivering solutions to support the work of the end users as well as the engineers, and Data Product Teams focusing on delivering value to the business users of their domain by providing them with well curated and fit for purpose data organized around domain-based data products. Customer Engagement Associate, together with subject matter experts, Solutions Architects and Systems Architects, design solid foundations for the Data Platform that serves the Business. They also support their product by aligning on with all respective stakeholders on technical solutions.

We are looking for a Customer Engagement Associate / Enterprise Data Architect who will be a member of one of the Platform Product team. Supporting their product as well as the whole Enterprise Data Architecture chapter by

  • being the front runner of their product, discussing technical solutions with new initiatives in our client’s organization.

  • supporting the design of Enterprise Data Architecture Blueprints,

  • validating, and improving each blueprint by actively participating in the product development,

  • supporting Data Product Teams scoping information domains and defining data products

  • generating business value for the product team.

What you will be doing

  • You align the business world and the technology world to reach the strategic targets.

  • You align the data platform architecture view with the needs of data product team.

  • You advocate and push adoption of the data platform by supporting every Data Product Teams as your customer.

  • In collaboration with the subject matter experts, you design enterprise data architecture blueprints for data capabilities and enablers that support engineers working for your product

  • You help to prioritize and focus data management, data governance, and data quality-improvement initiatives.

  • You support your designing the Transversal Data Model (TDM) and Canonical Data Model (CDM) to structure business data through a conceptual viewpoint independent of any present realization by real systems. This include defining solution from your product to best support them.

  • You drive Proof of Concepts that contribute to evaluating and validating the most suitable option for the Enterprise Data Architecture Blueprint.

  • You collect and integrate feedback from other data product teams who create data products, ensuring the marketplace meets their needs.

  • You support the product team, and guide the Data Advisor and Engineer in best designing their solutions.

  • You maximize the value of the Product in close collaboration with the Product Owner.

Requirements:

As a candidate for this mission, you can demonstrate proven experience with similar projects, missions or employments, with skills that encompass:

  • 8+ years designing Solutions and Blueprints as a cross-domain Enterprise, Data or Solution Architect

  • 8+ years designing Data Integrations within the Enterprise and with external parties, bridging Cloud and on-premise systems Experience with SAP, S/4Hana and SAP Datasphere as well as other related technologies

  • 3+ years developing data-focused products (nice to have)

  • 7+ years establishing best practices, methodologies, frameworks, principles, policies and processes

  • Experience with Domain Driven Design Experience designing and using Data Models Experience with messaging systems and/or Event Driven Architecture Experience with data intensive API and restful architecture

  • Some experience designing Master Data Management solutions (optional)

  • Some experience implementing Big Data and Data Lake (optional)

  • 3+ years developing data-focused products (nice to have)

  • Some experience working on data-mesh based Architectures (optional)

  • Proven experience in metadata management, data catalogs, and metadata harvesting tools.

  • Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics
