For SIGGIS, part of the NRB Group, we are looking for a GIS Consultant. SIGGIS is specialised in the sales, integration, development, training and support of geographic information systems (GIS). They are active in Belgium, Germany, France, The Netherlands, Luxembourg and Africa. SIGGIS stands for “Spatial Intelligence Genuine & Generic IT Solutions”: the integration of spatial intelligence into the business processes of organizations. 


In this position, you’ll get to ensure the smooth delivery of projects, both at SIGGIS and at clients. You'll also be able to participate to pre-sales assignments and experiment with technological evolutions and trends.

After an extensive internal training, you will participate to projects such as but not limited to; 

  • Implementations of desktop- en web-GIS at clients
  • Design of cartographic products
  • GIS analysis and modelling
  • Data processing & research based on modern, interactive tools & scripts
  • ... and many other interesting topics linked to GIS & geography.

Requirements

  • You successfully obtained a Master degree in Engineering or Computer Sciences
  • You have around 4-5 years' experience with GIS software and you are comfortable with Esri-products such as ArcGIS, ArcMap or Portal
  • Python and SQL are very familiar to you
  • You are result- and client oriented which makes you go the extra mile to successfully deliver a project 
  • You are communicative and a true teamplayer, which will allow you to smoothly integrate the internal and client's teams
  • You are in fluent in English and Dutch and/or French  is required
