Infrastructure Architect

Job description

Infrastructure Architect with minimum 8 years of experience in similar roles. The candidate should be familiar with technologies used at the Institution: VMWare, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 & 8, High Availabilities techniques/architecture, Monitoring and monitoring tools like: Splunk, Dynatrace, Tivoli, Oracle Database, Oracle Fusion Middleware, DevSecOps.


- Almost fully remote (Travelling to Brussels could be needed).

Requirements

• Experienced in important COTS migration (RHEL7 to 8 , Oracle DB version migration, VMWare migration …), able to plan and follow migration process for about 120 CIs spread in many different sectors and teams;

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role for projects which are highly technical by nature.

• Experienced in Data Centre migration is an asset;

• IT Infrastructure knowledge is an asset (NW, storage, compute, DB, MW layers);

• NW architecture knowledge is an asset (Firewall (F5), Nutanix, VLAN, LoadBalancing, CISCO ACI, NSX-T, …);

• Experienced in DR and DR planning and DR automation is an asset;

• Have contributed to improving IT operations e.g., reducing planned downtimes, building infrastructure service catalogue etc.

• Experienced in infrastructure automation; (5 layers).

• Extensive stakeholder management experience preferably in a large multicultural environment

• Ease to cope with new technologies

• Fluent in English (French is an advantage)
