IT Data Architect (EU Institution) - hybrid in Poland

For our customer based in Warsaw, Poland - an European Institution, we are looking for a Senior Data Architect based in Poland to join a long-term mission in the area of cybersecurity, public sector and law enforcement. You will play a key role in managing business architecture, guiding solution designs, and fostering collaboration among business architects and project teams to ensure coherence with the customer’s long-term vision.

Please note that the role requires 80-100% hybrid presence at the client’s headquarters in Warsaw, meaning that being based 2-3 hours by ground transportation from Warsaw will be required.

More specifically, you will be responsible for…

• Analyse business processes, capabilities, functional requirements and user stories

• Transfer requirements and user stories into system design and specifications

• Model and document Application and Data Architectures and its elements: logical data model, system roles, use cases, acceptance criteria, system logic and UI prototypes in cooperation with GUI specialist.

• Manage non-functional requirements

• Identify options for potential solutions

• Provision of services for development, consultancy and support of information systems under Time and Means conditions

• Maintain Application and Data Architectures in systems lifecycle

• Present and explain software design to business experts and product owners

• Contribute to systems prototyping by UX designers

• Prepare system documentation and provides presentations and trainings to business users

• Support tests, development, quality assurance, change management.

Are you the perfect match?

• University degree/BSc or MSc

• Holds OMG Certified UML Professional certificate at intermediate level or equivalent

• Has got at least 3 years hand on experience in systems analysis

• Has gone at least 2 times through the complete lifecycle of the software solution

• Presents excellent command of English, at least at C1 level

• Expert in UML

• Knows how to develop Application and Data Architectures and its elements.

• Knows system development methodologies

• Knows specifics and limitations of the following technologies of the Lot

• Is proficient in using systems modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect

• Expert in systems analysis

• Presents excellent communication skills

• Holds ability to document effectively

• Presents problem solving skills.
