Junior Accountant & HR Officer | Full-time contract | Athens - GR

Your daily work routine will include:

As an accountant :

  • Process purchase orders, follow up on the financial transactions, payments, disbursements, expense reports and invoices
  • Assist with reviewing of expenses, payment records etc. as assigned
  • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
  • Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
  • Be the connection between the Greek branch and the Finance department of the group, assisting in various accounting projects, if required.

As an HR Officer

  • Responsible for HR processes such as the hiring process (collection of all the documents, creation of the contracts), departures, change of contracts etc.
  • Responsible for sub-contractors’ contracts (POs, new contracts, termination letters)
  • In charge of contractors’ payments (gathering of timesheets, invoices, accounting notes etc.)
  • In charge of the benefits administration (medical, Ticket Restaurant meal vouchers...)


  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration Science or related field
  • Proven 1-2 years experience as an accountant or HR Officer
  • Working experience in payroll, good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, experience with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP) is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 or higher), knowledge of French is considered as an asset
  • Excellent organizing abilities and great attention to detail, team spirit and accountable for working in a multi-cultural and international environment
  • Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates)
