You will be part of the IT support team during the construction and operations readiness phase of a large-scale project. The role involves supporting site-based activities and coordinating IT needs in a dynamic construction environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide 1st and 2nd line IT Service Desk support for end users.
Support IT operations during the construction and operations readiness phases.
Work on site, coordinate with contractors/workers, ensure smooth IT-related operations (valid VCA-VOL certificate and driver’s license B required).
Install, configure, and inspect IT and Telecom equipment (Cisco, Dell, etc.).
Manage end-user devices (laptops, phones, printers, etc.).
Take ownership of incidents, troubleshoot and liaise with regional IT functions for escalation when required.
Monitor systems and proactively identify potential issues.
Document interventions and follow IT processes.
Technical Environment:
Windows 11
O365 (Microsoft 365 suite)
Active Directory
Cisco (networking)
Dell hardware
IT Ticketing System (experience with ServiceNow, Jira or similar is a plus)
Profile:
Junior IT profile with hands-on experience in IT support.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of issues.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a construction site context.
VCA-VOL certification required (our prepared to get it).
Driver’s license B mandatory.
Proactive, structured, and communicative.
Languages: English mandatory, Dutch is a strong plus
