Your role as a Strategy Lead

We are seeking an exceptional leader to fill the role of Strategy Lead, a critical position that will drive business growth, foster innovation, and develop high-performing teams.

 As a key member of our organization, the Strategy Lead will play a multifaceted role, leveraging their expertise to deliver strategic value to clients, drive business development, and build a world-class team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives, cultivating strong client relationships, developing and mentoring talented professionals, and shaping the future direction of our practice area.

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a lasting impact, driving business outcomes and thought leadership across multiple dimensions, including:

Strategic Consulting & Project Execution:

o   Lead complex IT strategy engagements, guiding clients through digital transformation, IT operating models, governance, and emerging technologies.

o   Define and execute IT roadmaps aligned with business objectives, ensuring measurable impact.

o   Drive change management and adoption strategies to maximize business value while overseeing project delivery to ensure high-quality outcomes, stakeholder alignment and risk management.

 

Business Development & Client Relationship Management:

o   Identify and develop new business opportunities, expanding the client portfolio and positioning the firm as a trusted advisor in IT strategy.

o   Build strong client relationships and shape tailored solutions that address specific business challenges.

o   Contribute to thought leadership by publishing insights, speaking at industry events, and engaging in networking activities to drive meaningful industry conversations.

 

People Leadership & Team Development:

o   Mentor and develop consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.

o   Provide coaching and career development support to team members while leading recruitment efforts to attract top talent.

o   Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams to enhance overall capabilities.

 

Practice Building & Thought Leadership

o   Shape the growth of the IT Strategy practice by defining methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.

o   Drive internal initiatives to enhance consulting capabilities, tools, and delivery models. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT strategy with broader business transformation services.

o   Stay ahead of market trends and emerging technologies to provide clients with forward-thinking and impactful advice.

Job requirements

  • A seasoned professional with at least 8 years of experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in a management consulting or strategy development environment.

  • Proven track record of success in delivering strategic projects and initiatives, with expertise in Strategic Consulting, Business Development, People Leadership and Practice Building.

  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness, with the ability to drive growth, identify new opportunities, and build long-lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing high-performing teams, and a passion for fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous learning.

  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas, negotiate, and persuade at all levels, both internally and externally.

  • Demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship, with a strong acumen for technology and digital innovations.

  • Strong emotional intelligence, paired with top-notch communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in writing, with a particular focus on crafting clear and effective documents.

  • Language proficiency in French, Dutch and English.
