Missions

As a Senior Data/AI Engineer within the Data Center of Excellence team, you will:

• Extend and maintain the organization's Data Platform (Databricks on Azure) in line with evolving business needs.

• Lead the deployment and take technical ownership of Azure AI services including AI Foundry, AI Search, OpenAI service, and Document Intelligence.

• Establish governance and ensure data security and compliance across Azure services.

• Design and implement data ingestion pipelines to support AI initiatives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on AI-related projects.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

• Advise on architectural decisions, AI model selection, and key technical choices.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of data and AI infrastructure processes.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Proven experience as a Data/AI Engineer

• Expertise in Databricks with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience

• Strong experience with Azure AI Services, including:

  • AI Foundry

  • AI Search

  • OpenAI

  • Document Intelligence

• Experience in Azure platform and infrastructure management

• Advanced skills in:

  • Data pipeline & ETL processes

  • Performance tuning & optimization

  • Python

  • SQL

• Intermediate level with Spark

• Experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform

• Full professional proficiency in English

• Dutch or French is a plus

• Availability to work in a hybrid mode (up to 50% remote)
