Job description

Trasys International offers IT Consulting jobs at the European Institutions and International Organizations.
For a project at the European Commission premises in Luxembourg.


You would conduct the duties with the following role:

Office 365 and SharePoint administration

  1. Be the “go-to” person for Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office 365 and all associated products and services
  2. Administration, support and configuration of MS Office O365 for staff
  3. Ensure the operational health of the SharePoint online environment including security, availability, performance, interoperability and reliability
  4. Maintenance of online SharePoint sites and sub sites, lists, libraries, and content (including pages, workflows, and items), as well as additional functionality for SharePoint development
  5. Administer and support an enterprise-level Microsoft Exchange infrastructure, troubleshoot Exchange related issues
  6. Define the approach and project process to migrate to M365
  7. Provide level three support to the managed services team specific to M365
  8. Research and implement changes to services offered by Microsoft regularly


General IT: End-user support and training for hardware and software


  1. Training and educating end-users on O365 capabilities and collaboration tools (OneDrive, Skype, OneNote, Outlook etc)
  2. Providing end-user support for all PC based hardware, applications and services
  3. Maintain and provide support for all IT infrastructure
  4. Provide tier 1 and tier 2 support and troubleshooting
  5. Troubleshoot OS, network and storage related issues

Operational Security, Maintenance and Governance


  1. Responsible for logical and physical controls of the company’s IT system by providing, on a quarterly basis, documented assurance that access to computer resources (data, equipment and facilities) is reasonable and restricted to authorized individuals
  2. Troubleshoot various Office 365 issues including connectivity and mobility
  3. Conduct routine monitoring and analysis to include Audit Log Reports evaluation, system and storage utilization reports, site and system usage, growth reports, and manage site collection quota settings. Propose and implement new tools for monitoring.
  4. Contribute to the development and documentation of procedures, projects and future operations, participation in development of 

Cloud infrastructure


  1. Technical experience, training, or degree in IT that provided exposure to super user level work with O365
  2. Experience in an organization with Microsoft Office and related technology
  3. Experience administering O365, Exchange, Azure Active Directory and SharePoint environment
  4. Collaborative approach with hands on attitude;
  5. Help desk experience and ability to provide technical and end-user support;
  6. Sever administration experience
  7. General knowledge of networking
  8. Knowledge of ICT infrastructure and systems;
  9. Knowledge of ITIL best practices in ICT operations;
  10. Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment (language and communications skills);
  11. Capability to speak to and interface with business and technical audiences;
  12. Capability to write clear and structured technical documents;
  13. Ability to articulate solutions to non-technical employees/customers

Requirements

  • Proven experience of working as a member of an ICT operations team
  • Network design security solutions/technologies, including security zones, secure connections, VPN, IPS, IDS, network and application firewall;
  • Data security in virtualised environment, with encryption technologies and other security controls
  • Microsoft Certifications in Azure Cloud Service Offerings are a plus, especially M365 and O365
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment;
