THE BACKGROUND

We are looking for a Network Engineer F5 to join our IT Infrastructure team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in F5 network solutions and will be responsible for configuration changes following the NRB processes.

YOUR MISSION

This role will cover a wide range of responsibilities, including managing mutualized and dedicated F5 systems, handling internal and customer projects, and ensuring the smooth operation and lifecycle management of F5 devices.

Configuration Management: Implement and manage configuration changes on F5 devices in line with NRB process and compliance standards.

Project Support: Collaborate with teams and clients on F5-related projects, providing technical expertise throughout planning and execution.

Run & Lifecycle Management: Ensure F5 device availability, apply patches/upgrades, and perform health checks and performance tuning.

Incident Management: Troubleshoot and resolve F5-related incidents in coordination with IT support teams.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, changes, and incidents; deliver regular performance reports.

Collaboration & Communication: Coordinate with network, security, and application teams; clearly communicate F5 operations to stakeholders.

YOUR TEAM

You will join the Network team, responsible for the network infrastructures of our data centers, our clients, and the WAN connections between our clients and the public cloud providers.

YOUR PROFILE

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience (3-5 years) as an F5 Engineer or in a similar role.

Hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP products, including LTM, GTM, and ASM.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/HTTPS protocols.

• Experience with network security concepts and practices.

• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.

• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and incident management processes.

Technical knowledge mastered or to be developed together:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator, F5 Certified BIG-IP Specialist) are a plus.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, Nagios).

Soft skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
