Our client will be looking for a Senior/Expert level Power BI Consultant to replace their current in house specialist who will mutate internally.

This is not a reporting developer role; the consultant must operate across architecture, governance, integration, and business support within our client’s established Self Service BI framework.

Key Focus of the role:

• Provide expert-level support to business users within our client’s existing Self Service BI framework.

• Work within, and help reinforce, our client’s established Power BI Governance Framework.

• Bring structure, consistency, and best practices to the current BI environment.

• Deep Power BI expertise, going far beyond dashboard creation.

• Ability to handle:
  o Architectural questions
  o Redesign of legacy dashboards and datasets
  o Gateway management
  o Dataset and dataflow design
  o Support for complex modelling scenarios

• Someone who can communicate well with business stakeholders, provide guidance, and create clarity around BI processes.

• A profile that can bring order, governance, and consistency across workspaces, datasets, and reports.

• Strong understanding of data integration within Power BI, especially when combining sources like SAP, Azure, or other enterprise systems.

Databricks knowledge Not required, but a significant advantage because it would allow the consultant to support broader data engineering or analytics initiatives across teams when needed.
