Activities that fall into the responsibilities of the Program Management Officer, or where support is expected, in close collaboration with the responsible program and/or project manager(s):

  • Planning, preparing & following-up on internal stakeholder’s meetings (e.g. coordination meetings, Steering Committee, …) and external stakeholders’ meetings (e.g. task force with market parties, specific meetings with stakeholders, …);

  • Preparing meetings and/or communication materials;

  • Supporting planning and budgeting exercises, along with active follow-up and quarterly reporting on the program and related projects;

  • Facilitating coordination among topics and experts to achieve shared goals in line with overall planning and managing interface coordination;

  • Following up and/or coordinating specific streams or deliverables;

  • Ensuring long-term document management within the program, internally and externally;

  • Contributing to continuous improvement to the program management.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Economics/Engineering or equivalent experience;

  • Experience of at least 3 years in PMO support;

  • Background: Knowledge of the energy sector is beneficial, particularly with technical expertise in electricity market management, grid developments, and/or connection processes;

  • Excellent communication skills (both speaking and writing) and very good level of English (spoken and written) are essential. Fluency in French and/or Dutch is advantageous;

  • Well organized;

  • Punctual, attention for details;

  • Assertive with strong diplomatic skills;

  • Autonomous, capable of managing and respecting deadlines:

  • Proactive and impact-focused, proficient at prioritizing tasks;

  • Collaborative mindset, effective in a (project) team environment.
