As part of the Digital team at IS Flexible Generation Europe, the Junior Digital Product Manager will be supporting the full project lifecycle of new digital product developments, rolling them out on our industrial sites as well as being responsible for servicing some of the already existing applications.

Responsibilities:

• As a Junior Digital Product Manager you will work under the supervision of an experienced Product Owner and act as the link between business & our software factory.

• During the creation of new applications, you will help steer the project team & guide the stakeholders throughout the duration of the project. Via workshops & brainstorming sessions you will analyze & challenge the business requirements with the aim to translate them into functional specifications for our software factory.

• In order to succeed you need a hands on approach regarding problem solving, testing & change management whilst keeping quality output, time to market & budget control as your main focal points.

• You will also be involved in the keep it running & servicing of the already existing apps belonging to your portfolio. This implies keeping track of potential improvements proposed by the clients & prospects and scheduling regular upgrades.

• The Junior Digital Product Manager is expected to be flexible regarding working location, time & context and will be part of a team where we take care of each other, where we give honest feedback and expect to receive it.

General requirements:

• Job will mainly be located in our offices in the Brussels area, but requires a willingness to regularly travel worldwide.

• Excellent knowledge of EN.

• Fluent knowledge in one of the following languages would be a major asset: Dutch, German, French, Polish, Italian or Spanish.

• Master diploma mandatory.

• Some experience as a IT project leader or digital product manager is a plus.

• Strong verbal & written communication skills; being able to switch between the language of the business as well as that of IT and to deliver quality workshops, presentations & demonstrations to clients.

• Strong customer service skills, including aptitude for working with personnel at all organizational levels.

• Flexibility and adaptability to the demands and requirements of an evolving environment; ability to work on multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.

• Strong creative thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to complex problems that may not have one clear answer; the ability to identify alternatives, workarounds or temporary solutions.

• Open communication and have a team player spirit; we are a small and fast moving team, it is important to be able to keep the team updated and support each other.

• Technical requirements: Experience in agile project methodology, software development or knowledge of Azure DevOps / TFS is a plus.
