YOUR TEAM

You will be joining a team of skilled IT professionals within our SAP Business Consulting unit, where we manage critical SAP systems for a wide range of customers. Our team works on some of the most advanced SAP environments, using cutting-edge technologies to ensure smooth, secure, and high-performing system landscapes. As part of this team, you’ll be contributing to complex projects and supporting mission-critical SAP applications, making a tangible impact on our customers’ business operations.

YOUR MISSION

We are looking for a driven and experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will manage and maintain diverse SAP environments for our clients, including SAP S/4HANA, ERP, SAP BW, SAP PO, and SAP Solution Manager, across multiple operating systems (Windows, Unix/Linux) and database platforms (HANA, Oracle, Sybase ASE, SQL Server, MaxDB). You will work both in hosted environments, remotely, and in the cloud.

Your core responsibilities include full lifecycle management of SAP landscapes, from installations and upgrades to migrations and daily SAP BC (Basis Consulting) support. You will also monitor system performance, handle tuning tasks for SAP systems and databases, and address technical issues in real-time, providing solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

Additionally, you will participate in our SAP BC 24/7 watch guard, a critical component of ensuring the availability and stability of our clients' SAP environments. This role is mainly based at our datacenter in Herstal, Belgium, though you may occasionally be assigned to customer-specific projects for on-site engagement.


Your main responsibilities :



  • Manage and maintain SAP systems across various platforms, including S/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP PO, etc.
  • Perform SAP installations, upgrades, and migrations
  • Provide day-to-day SAP Basis support, system monitoring, and performance tuning
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP, databases, and system interfaces
  • Participate in the SAP BC 24/7 watch guard for continuous system monitoring and emergency support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize SAP solutions
  • Work on assigned projects both in the datacenter and on-site at client locations when necessary

    YOUR PROFILE



  • Strong customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering results
  • Excellent communication skills in French, with working proficiency in Dutch and/or English
  • A team player who understands customer needs and works collaboratively to meet them
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent through relevant experience
  • 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis

    SAP-Specific Requirements:
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Technology & Architecture
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting SAP technical components, including SAP Java stack
  • Expertise in at least one specific SAP domain such as PI, BI, BO, CRM, Portal, HANA, or ASE
  • Familiarity with at least two operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux)
  • Strong working knowledge of at least two database systems (HANA, ASE, Oracle, MS-SQL)
  • SAP certification is a plus but not mandatory
