For one of our main clients based in Brussels - an European Institution, we are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst to join our team in the area of HR data analytics and policies. You will play a crucial role in supporting the HR policies and decisions, enabling the successful implementation of the client's digital transformation and EU policies.
As IT Business Analyst, you will perform the following tasks:
- Requirements gathering and Business analysis;
- Business processes modelling and Business model analysis;
- Develop and maintain the portfolio of HR related surveys and survey services, providing a reference point across the Commission and other Institutions, agencies and bodies;
- Manage steering groups, chair project meetings and supervise the execution of each phase of the survey process, in close collaboration with involved actors;
- Identify survey requirements with stakeholders and prepare criteria, mandates, terms of reference and information sources for external contractors;
- Survey design including survey structure, content, lay-out, optimized in view of the anticipated analytics;
- Carry-out pre-treatment of data and data-analysis, applying appropriate data protection measures;
- Ensure quality assessment of survey analytics and reports based on survey results;
- Promote and initiate multi-factorial and multi-source survey analytics;
- Follow-up the dissemination of survey analytics, knowledge sharing and communication initiatives
across the organization;
- Follow-up of procurement exercises in the context of the inter-institutional Framework Contract for
evaluations and surveys.
- You should hold a Bachelor degree in a relevant field;
- You should have at least 6 years of experience in IT/business analysis;
- Business processes modelling. Ability to translate Business processes into formal BPMN diagrams;
- At least 5 years of expertise in survey design, management and analysis;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and Powerpoint;
- Excellent knowledge of quality assurance;
- Knowledge of data analytical software (e.g. R, SPSS, SAS, or similar);
- Knowledge of Agile ways of working;
- Excellent English language proficiency ;
- Capability to work effectively in a multicultural environment;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Certification or diploma (University/institution) in the field of Administration; Human Resource Management; Psychology; Communication; Social Science, Statistics or similar;
- EU nationality/work permit in Belgium.
*The mode of work is remote/hybrid from Belgium, if not based in Belgium, relocation will be required.
