For our customer based in Luxembourg - a European Institution, we are looking for an experienced Java Software Engineer.

More specifically, you will be responsible for…

• Developing and maintaining backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

• Designing and implementing interfaces to process and import market data.

• Applying object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.

• Ensuring code quality through test-driven development and test automation.

• Integrating and managing event-driven processes using Kafka.

• Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and release automation.

• Collaborating with project stakeholders and providing technical expertise.

• Strong expertise in Java backend development with Spring Boot.

• Solid experience in object-oriented design and programming.

• Hands-on knowledge of test automation and TDD (Cucumber is a plus).

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.

• Source control and release management with GitHub (or similar tools).
