Senior Product Owner | Full-time contract | Athens - GR
Your work activities overall will include:
Operate within an Agile delivery framework, taking ownership of prioritization and value-driven decision-making;
Own, prioritize and maintain the Team Backlog, by creating user stories and ensuring they are ready for development;
Advocate for users, bridging the gap between stakeholders and the development team;
Work closely with the team to clarify requirements, and with Product Management to align with the overall product vision;
Ensure that both functional and non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, security, compliance, etc.) are considered throughout delivery;
Follow-up the implementation of information systems to meet identified business needs, managing the use of resources and skills, within agreed parameters such as effort, timescales, and quality;
Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of project objectives and business context;
Propose solutions by combining IT tools and business process refactoring or improvements based on an in-depth understanding of a specific business domain;
Identify project dependencies and coordinate with other teams (internal and/or external);
Support and drive the prioritization and resolution of defects / bugs;
Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues;
Monitor the team’s work closely to ensure achievement of PI Objectives and business value delivered via system demonstrations;
Participate to PI planning retrospectives, reviews, and other Agile SAFe ceremonies;
Review delivered product increments and validate functionalities after each sprint/iteration;
Organize live demonstrations of the product at the end of the sprint/iteration;
Write and review documentation in English (technical / user stories / studies etc.).
Job requirements
Working in an Agile enterprise environment;
Certifications in Agile and/or project management methodologies are considered an asset- practical experience with Scaled Agile Framework will be considered a plus;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to discern key issues and deal with them effectively;
Stakeholder management and negotiation skills;
Ability to manage conflicting priorities;
Able to work in fast paced and international environment;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
Able to create engaging presentations and present them to business stakeholders, technical teams and management boards.
