Are you passionate about IT service management and have a knack for developing and maintaining tools that drive efficiency? We are looking for a skilled Service Desk Tool Developer to join our innovative IT team. If you're experienced in ServiceNow, highly analytical, and thrive in an autonomous environment, this might be the perfect role for you!

Your Role:

As the Service Desk Tool Developer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our service desk tool. From understanding user needs to developing new features, you will ensure that our service management tool continues to meet and exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • User Needs Analysis: Collect and analyse user requirements related to our service management tool, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Solution Design: Propose practical, scalable solutions and provide estimations.
  • Tool Configuration: Update and configure the tool to align with changing business requirements.
  • Development & Testing: Design and test new features to enhance tool functionality.
  • User Support: Act as the go-to person for tool-related support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Baseline Maintenance: Keep the existing system configurations up to date.
  • Reporting: Create, configure, and run reports to meet evolving business needs.

Job requirements

What We’re Looking For:

Technical Skills:

  • MS Office Expertise: Solid command of MS Office applications.
  • ServiceNow Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development.
  • Certifications:
    • ITIL V4 Foundation Certified (or willing to achieve certification within the first 3 months).
    • ServiceNow Certification is highly desirable.

Experience:

  • 3+ Years in ServiceNow development with a proven track record of tool development, configuration, and user support.

Language & Communication:

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), French would be an asset
  • Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to work effectively with cross-functional teams and users.
