Job requirements
Responsibilities:
Design and communicate system architecture
Develop interoperability and interfaces with other systems
Elicit needs, analyze requirements, and transfer business, user, and technical needs into architectures
Map business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, and system features
Analyze available systems, identify options for potential solutions, and maintain and track architecture in systems lifecycle
Estimate and size software development works
Contribute to systems design, testing, quality assurance, and change management
Prepare system documentation and provide presentations
Lead development teams and development processes
Select and evaluate technologies
Collect and interpret system metrics
Optimize system from performance, security, and quality points of view
At least 2 years of experience as a key architect in the development of software systems (one system for basic profile)
Expertise in systems architecting in a relevant domain
Deep knowledge of software architecture patterns, cloud platforms, networking, databases, APIs, and integration methods
Experience in gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing requirements while balancing feasibility, cost, and compliance
Knowledge of security best practices (authentication, authorization, encryption, zero-trust models)
Excellent technical knowledge about:
Databases
Application servers
Communication middleware
Web servers
GIS services
Directory services
Systems security on Microsoft platforms
Business intelligence concepts
Systems integration and Integrated Development Environments
Expertise in designing in UML
Proficiency in using systems modeling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect, or others
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to document effectively
Leadership skills
Certifications:
At least 2 certifications among:
Master-level certificate in a relevant software development technology domain or in architecting software solutions (e.g., TOGAF Certified)
Certified UML Professional certificate at the foundation level
An equivalent certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority)
