For our customer based in Warsaw, Poland - an European Institution, we are looking for a Solution Architect - SharePoint based in Poland to join a long-term mission in the area of cybersecurity, public sector and law enforcement.
You will play a critical role in designing and implementing cutting-edge software systems that meet the client's business needs. If you have a strong background in software architecture, excellent technical skills, and experience leading development teams, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity.
Please note that the role requires to be performed in Near-Site meaning you must live within 2-hour radius of the Warsaw, Poland premises.
Remote working mode but must be able to go on-site upon request (hence the 2-hour radius).

Key responsibilities:
Sets standards in scope of design, development, quality and testing.
Designs and communicates system architecture.
Designs interoperability and interfaces with other systems.
Elicits needs and analyses requirements.
Transfers business, users and technical needs into architectures.
Maps business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, system features.
Analyses available systems.
Identifies options for potential solutions.
Maintains and tracks architecture in systems lifecycle.
Estimates and sizes software development works.
Contributes to systems design, testing, quality assurance, and change management.
Prepares system documentation and provides presentations.
Leads development teams and development processes.
Selects and evaluates technologies.
Collects and interprets system metrics.
Optimizes system from performance, security and quality points of view.
Job requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years specific to systems architecture.
At least two relevant certifications, such as:
Master-level certification in a software development or architecture domain (e.g., TOGAF Certified)
Certified UML Professional (Foundation)
Equivalent internationally recognized certification.
Language Proficiency: English at CEFR Level B2, officially certified by a recognized authority.
Expertise:
Performed a role of key architect in development of at least 2 software systems
Expert in systems architecting in SharePoint, its main components and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem
Expert in designing enterprise level software system
Expert in planning capacity and security of the systems
Holds excellent technical knowledge about: databases, application servers, communication middleware, web servers, GIS services, directory services, systems security on Microsoft platforms, business intelligence concepts, systems integration and Integrated Development Environments
Expert in designing in UML
Expert in software development methodologies, lifecycles and artefacts like RUP, ISO12207 and agile methodologies
Proficient in using systems modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect or others
Present excellent communication skills
Present problem solving skills
Present leadership skills
Holds ability to document effectively
Knowledge and experience in PowerShell and custom client‑side languages
Cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure, and basic networking and Active Directory concepts.
Microsoft's low-code development platforms for creating custom applications and automating processes within the SharePoint environment.
Integration of SharePoint with other Microsoft applications and external services using APIs.
