Guide a software project from inception to actual implementation and delivery;
Be active part of the development team and contribute during the development cycle;
Translate business requirements into a system architecture;
Define the methodology and roadmap driving the implementation of a solution/application from its design to the roll-out;
Identify, analyse and design the right solution and ensure presentation of its strengths and limitations to the client;
Write the specification and the documentation of development standards and best practices;
Design the end-to-end integration of the designed solutions and the support afterwards;
Prepare the technical answer of key client proposals as well as the set-up of demos and prototypes.
University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field;
Minimum of 10 years of ICT experience, of which minimum 2 years as Solution/Enterprise (Java) Architect and 3 years in consultancy;
Excellent hands-on experience in defining solution/enterprise architecture and roadmaps in the context of digital transformation projects, with relevant certifications (ArchiMate, TOGAF, etc.);
Experience in data analytics and “deep tech” (Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain/Distributed Ledge Technology) are considered an asset;
Solid experience in full-stack application design and development, notably in RESTful web services, dependency injection frameworks and server-side (JSF, Spring MVC) or client-side (Angular) technologies;
Proven skills in terms of Project management (certifications such as PRINCE2 or MSP are considered as an asset);
Understanding of the Agile Software Development methodologies;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 or higher);
Availability for travelling across Europe (possibly 3-4 times annually for few days);
Strong client management and relationship building skills;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to discern key issues and deal with them effectively;
Good team spirit and accountable for working in a multi-cultural and international environment.
