Technical Tester

Job description

In order to reinforce the Remote Sales scrum team of our client active in the Public transport area, we are now searching for a new Technical Tester.
You will join the Remote Sales team who is responsible for developing and testing B2C/B2B ticketing solutions, as such the tester will be involved in both testing the evolution of the current solution as well as the future remote sales solutions as part of the New Ticketing Back Office program. 
Within this team you will be responsible for analysis of the user stories and define associated test scenarios, create automatized test suites if possible (functional and non-functional), execute tests, evaluate the result vs the expected outcome as well as report on test execution status and associated defect. 
As a tester you will also be responsible for maintaining the test suites and test cases within the test management tool as well as document test suites.


Basically, the project will be focused on the following guidelines : 

  • Analyze user stories (technical or business alike)
  • Define test scenario’s (steps and expected outcome)
  • Execute test scenario’s (unit integration & system tests)
  • Analyze test result and optionally create & report defects
  • Report on overall test progress and results
  • Maintain test libraries within test management tool
  • Document tests libraries



Requirements

As a Technical Tester you have a diploma in : 

  • Bachelor's Degree IT
  • ISTQB foundation

You have also knowledge in :

  • Public transport ticketing systems
  • SoapUI, UFT, Selenium
  • C#, .net core, WCF
  • REST, SOAP
  • SQL server, Oracle,
  • software and embedded testing
  • experience in .net, SOA, web technologies is desired
  • knowledge of Agile methodology is a plus
  • JIRA, Bamboo knownledge is a plus
