For one of our main clients based in Luxembourg - an European Institution, we are looking for Technology Expert - Citrix Systems Engineer with expertise in the domain of Citrix to join our team in the area of law enforcement - financial supervision, fraud prevention and crime investigation. You will be part of the Digital Digital Ecosystems Support Unit (DESS), Digital Services Unit and will play a key role in deploying and operating new infrastructure based on Nutanix and Citrix.

The client is initiating an operational infrastructure project focused on the deployment and configuration of a newly acquired computing cluster. The objective is to implement Nutanix and Citrix Workspace as the foundational platform to support our virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and application delivery needs.

For the needs of the position, you need to be based in Luxembourg area and work on hybrid mode (50% presence in the office, 50% remote from EU/monthly basis).

More specifically, you will be responsible for...

• Provision of expert advice and assistance, technology watch, architectural considerations, risk analysis, gap analysis, applicable standards, solution patterns and best practices in the area of Citrix System engineering.

• Provision of technical studies.

• Elaboration of design documentation, with consultation with stakeholders.

• Elaboration of vision documents focused upon Systems components.

• Deliver the design, installation and configuration of these technologies.

• Operate client’s IT services according to agreed service levels, ITSM best practices, internal policies and procedures.

• Provide 2nd and 3rd level of technical support, register and troubleshoot incidents and escalating to external parties.

• Creation and testing of standard operational procedures – backups, restore, monitoring etc.

• Implementing, configuring, administering, monitoring and maintaining the client’s IT systems to deliver a 24/7 secure, reliable and efficient service for client’s CMS and the whole organization.

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree;

• Minimum 7 years of experience in systems administration (preferably with Citrix);

• In-depth knowledge and proven hands-on expertise in the implementation and administration of Citrix enterprise infrastructure;

• In-depth experience in maintaining and monitoring Citrix infrastructure, with knowledge of standard monitoring and management tools;

• Previous experience in Designing VDI Infrastructure and datacentre systems;

• Experience in security;

• Knowledge of ITIL best practices;

• Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment;

• Ability to make recommendations and give advice about best practices;

• English language proficiency (C1/C2).

It will be nice if you have…

• Proven hands-on experience with other Nutanix solutions and features;

• Proven hands-on experience with all other Citrix solutions;

• Previous experience IT automation.
